Former CIA analyst Fred Fleitz joined Arthel Neville on “America’s News Headquarters” to share insight on how the deadly Paris terror attacks may signal a dangerous new collaboration between radical Islamist groups.

Fleitz said that authorities initially believed that the Paris attacks represented competition between Al Qaeda and ISIS, with Al Qaeda trying to steal the spotlight with the Charlie Hebdo massacre.

“We now know the situation is more complicated because all the assailants have some ties to Syria,” Fleitz explained.

“What I think this adds up to is not competition between rival terrorist groups, but a terror support network that makes the possibility of terrorists who will be much better trained and better financed and, frankly, much more dangerous.”

Fleitz added that the Obama administration’s reluctance to even use the words “radical Islam” is a sign of incompetence.

  • Paris and Brussels are just the start. The worst is, as Mr. Fleitz noted, the apathy and blatant avoidance by Obama. We MUST be vocal publicly abhor any act of terrorism, which this was, or we lose all credibility.
